Student Visa

THIS VISA IS NOT A SCHENGEN VISA, IT IS A SPANISH VISA
This kind of visa is for people above or less than 18 years who wish to study in Spain (First Degree, Masters, Ph. D., etc.) during more than 180 days.

WHERE TO SUBMIT
The applicant must apply for a student visa at the premises of the Consulate General of Spain in Lagos.

WHAT TO SUBMIT
The consular administration has full authority to evaluate, and request for more documents than those submitted by the applicant. The latter is hereby informed that submitting the aforementioned documents does NOT guarantee automatic issuance of the visa. Original documents will not be returned until the conclusion of the procedure.

The processing fee for this type of application is service charge of NGN 29,500 only.

Please Note:

The visa fee in Naira is as per current exchange rate. It is subject to change without notice.
There is a service charge of NGN 29,500 per application over and above the visa fees.
All Applicants applying at Abuja should pay an additional 4500 Nairas as mandatory courier charges.
All payments are to be paid in cash at the centre.
Visa Fee and service charge to be paid at Bank Implant inside BLS centre. Kindly carry the applicant's 1st page Passport photocopy while paying the service fee and the visa fee at the bank
There is no exemption for BLS Service charge and courier charge
The above BLS Service Charge and visa processing fee are non-refundable and non transferable. For any exceptional case, kindly contact BLS centre at Lekki, in Lagos or at Abuja

As per instruction received from Embassy of Spain, "Checklist" needs to be duly filled in by the Applicant/Travel Agent/Authorized representative and needs to submit along with the Visa Application. Please note it's mandatory to provide the same and is applicable for all Nigeria.

Note: We regret we cannot accept photographs that do not meet these requirements

Please provide one recent photograph (not more than 6 months old) of yourself, which should not have been used previously in the passport. The photograph should be in colour and:

Taken against a light background (white or off-white) so that features are distinguishable and contrast against the background.
Clear share quality and with the face in focus.
Printed on normal photographic paper (camera print).
Full face, non-smiling [without sunglasses, a hat/cap or other head covering, unless the applicant wears such items because of their religious belief or ethnic background]
Please stick the Photograph on the Visa Application Form.

Note: Please follow these instructions carefully. If photographs presented do not meet these requirements your application will be considered incomplete. A photo booth meeting these requirements is available at the centre..

Applications accepted at the Spain Visa Application Centre will be submitted on the next working day at the Embassy of Spain/Consulate General of Spain. Once the application has been submitted, the applicant can be further requested additional documentation in support of the same. Please note as per the instructions received from Embassy of Spain minimum processing time is 20 Calendar days (It may delay depending on case to case).

All applications must be submitted at least 20 days prior to the proposed date of travel to accommodate any unforeseen processing delays.

Processing time will start excluding the date of submission of application at BLS International Services.

Applicants submitting the applications with short processing time will be required to fill up the Declaration form.
